"Rude boy train is coming now... Dippy dippy doooey... Dippy dippy doooey..." - Desmond Dekker
...Nice and slow these days. With calculated moves and measured steps here I come. I just wanted to let it be known that my whole format is different. I won't be posting much new music content for a little while as I become acclimated to the new changes. California, for instance. I'm headed back to where it all started. Which is great. It works for what I have planned. To write and write and write. About the things I know and the things that move me. I have some mix tape action and an E.P. coming out this summer and that will all be posted here. Real rude and interesting tunes too,as my taste runs from hip hop to skinhead reggae to electrofunk and back around etc. Don't be too surprised if I put out a lil' horror surf, rocksteady or outlaw country joints either; I intend to give you some interesting crossover music and I have some good people to collaborate with. California, my idealistic home will help bring a lot of this out too. Take warning.
"Well, if they freed me from this prison,If that railroad train was mine,
I bet I'd move out over a little, Farther down the line,
Far from Folsom Prison, That's where I want to stay,
And I'd let that lonesome whistle, Blow my Blues away." - Johnny Cash
Too many people waste their lives. Either being suckers or trying to live the "life". The opposite sides of a coin that I've been on. The straight life and the crooked life. I dedicate this site, my writings and my whole being to my people. To the oppressed. To the music that empowers us. I have learned (the hard way) that the one thing they can't take away from me is my voice and I thank you ALL for helping me find it; finally. Let's see what I can do with it, yeah? There are so many things I fight for, that I fight against and that I'm fighting to keep. Music scores every move I make now. I will explain in further detail my views on the "universal language" while also presenting my own content. PROPER.
* The Rude Boy Train (of thought) is dedicated to self-determination, the fight against racism, my brothers and sisters in the system, my family, friends, the dancefloor and the universal language, MUSIC.
